Applied under asphaltic wearing course as a reinforcing aid to the asphalt which assists in economising the road design
Crack tape
A self-adhesive, cold applied, polymer modified, high tack bituminous tape. It has a quick release film on one side and is produced in roll form.
Crack tape is used for surface sealing of open cracks (up to 5mm width) on asphalt and concrete pavements and can be used as a pretreatment before being overlayed.

Pave seal
A self-adhesive, cold applied, glass reinforced, polymer modified bituminous strip for sealing joints between existing asphalt and new asphalt installations.
Pave seal is used in road repair as a waterproofing joint sealant where new asphalt patches or maintenance is required against existing asphalt surfaces. It also seals joints between asphalt and concrete or steel, such as concrete curb work, catch pits or manhole covers.

Pavetex 140
Description:
A nonwoven needlepunched paving felt used for preventative maintenance in road repair. Pavetex is supplied in narrow strips for localised repair to cracks or in full width.
Use:
When saturated with bitumen, pavetex effectively seals the existing pavement from ingress of water and retards any further reflective cracking that may occur to the new road surface. This provides a greater durability and lifespan to the repaired road.

- Prevents the ingress of water and oxygen by providing a complete surface seal.
