Erosion of top soils from domestic building sites to major civil engineering construction sites to greenfields areas is becoming an ever increasing problem as environmental bylaws are now more stringent to ensure control in the prevention of erosion. We have a proven range of products which provides the solution to many erosion control problems.

Products include:

Jute
Pinned to newly cut embankment surfaces to prevent surface water runoff scour. For slopes of up to 40 degrees

Hessian
Pinned to newly cut embankment surfaces to prevent surface water runoff scour. For slopes of up to 35 degrees. Hessian is also great for use in concrete curing

Geocell
Pinned to newly cut embankment surfaces to prevent surface water runoff scour. For slopes of up to 50 degrees

Silt Fence
Erected on embankments or watercourses parrelell to contour lines and staggered to slow water velocity and capture silt runoff

Silt Fences made of Geotex G34 nonwoven geotextile erected in a watercourse in a staggered fashion. The silt fences slowed the water runoff velocity by the barriers themselves and by diverting the water flow to zig-zag down this water course.

This application proved very successful at the King Shaka International Airport construction works where environmental issues are stringent.
